Honour Roll

Although they are gone their memory will remain with us forever ... Lest We Forget.

Karl MingersKarl was a steady participant of many Legion functions.  He had a smile for us all.  Karl loved music and he shared his love of music with us at these functions.  We will remember him.

Richard N. Robinson .   Robby was an active member of the Legion.  He made some fantastic BBQ, and often shared his skills at various Legion events.  As good as his BBQ was, his friendship was far superior.  Robby was warm hearted and good natured, always ready to help where he could.  He was fun. He was a friend.  We will remember him.

Brigitte Freuwörth . Regretfully, Comrade Brigitte recently passed away after a hard fought battle with terminal health issues.  She was a long standing member and friend of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 003.  Branch 003 members were in attendance at her ceremony.  Our thoughts are with her husband Klaus, family and friends.

Theo Jörgen †.
Branch 003 lost Theo on the 26th of June this year from complications after a massive stroke. He was very active in Branch activities.  "We will remember him".

Brian Barrett * † 9 June 2012. Brian served with the British Royal Air Force and settled in Germany in 1977 after his military service and took the opportunity to work in his original trade when he joined the E-3A Component in 1981 as a NATO International Civilian. He retired the second time in 2001 after more than 20 years of loyal and dedicated employment. After his retirement he remained in the local area and maintained contact with his many friends in the community. Brian was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion with Branch 003 in Geilenkirchen. After the formation of the Branch in 1987 Brian among other duties in the Legion became the Branch historian and was always available for a good chat or to assist in many projects over the years until health issues forced him to stand down. Brian passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is missed by his comrades. "We will remember him".
